RETURN TO NEWCASTLE

When Peter and Sandy parted, Peter was quite depressed. His work was not satisfying and the house beside the river had been resumed. Apart from his children there was little to keep Peter in Maclean. Leaving TELSTRA was one part of a series of changes that occurred at that time; the other was renewing an old friendship with Sue. Sue and Peter found they had a deeper connection and as the years with Julie were now long behind him, Peter moved on. Sue and Peter decided to marry and set up home in Adamstown.

Peter found a variety of work and two new children entered his life, Egan and Keely. Surfing became less important but old friendships were renewed.
